The 5 Things Tag

FIVE THINGS I WAS DOING TEN YEARS AGO:

-I had only been married just over a month so I was marital BLISS with my new husband.

-Going to college at SUU. I was just starting my junior year in Cedar City studying Elementary Education.

-Working at Cedar Woods Financial as a telemarketer. I would call people and try to talk them into refinancing their home with the company I worked for. I have never telemarketed again in my life. It was so hard knowing that Jason and I wouldn't have enough money to live on if I didn't make sells. We had NO money and were "living on love".

-My mom and dad were the best at this time in our lives. They only lived about 2 1/2 hours away and would show up to take us to dinner and buy us groceries at least once a month.

-Taking trips to St. George was one of our favorite pastimes. Not only was it way warmer there, they also had a Cafe Rio (our favorite place to eat).

FIVE THINGS ON THE TO-DO LIST TODAY:

-Go to work, I have a list of at least ten things to do there.

-Take Cassidy to dance lessons.

-Buy a bag of candy corn for school tomorrow, I am doing "Candy Corn Math".

-Make dinner, spaghetti and meatballs are on the menu tonight.

-Go to the gym, my favorite class is today (Abs and Buns).

FIVE THINGS I WOULD DO IF I WERE A MILLIONAIRE:

-Pay off all of the debt we have.

-Invest a bunch of money so my kids will be millionaires too.

-Go on vacations, lots of vacations, and invite the entire family to come along.

-Quit my job and go back to school so I can get a degree in what I would rather be doing.

-Buy everyone gifts, I always see things I would love to get for Jason, my kids, friends, family, etc. and can never afford them.

FIVE THINGS I WOULD NEVER WEAR AGAIN:

-Doc Martins, man those shoes are HEAVY!

-A tube top, my post nursing boobs would NEVER hold it up.

-Uncomfortable shoes.

-Foundation.

-Anything sleeveless, even over another shirt.

MY FIVE FAVORITE TOYS:

-My boat!!!

-Ipod Shuffle, I can't run without it.

-Tivo, praise the Lord for recorded TV.

-Microwave, the best way to cook almost anything.

-My camera, I loked at Jason weird when he gave it to me for Christmas but I love it and carry it with me always.

100 random things about me. My sister-in-law did this once so I thought I would post some little ditties about me.

1. My favorite color is blue.

2. I hate being cold.

3. Thus, winter is my least favorite season.

4. Though my favorite holidays are in the winter, Thankgiving and Christmas.

5. I am a t-shirt and jeans gal.

6. I LOVE dressing up when I have somewhere to be.

7. A movie and popcorn is my idea of the perfect rainy day.

8. I have never left the country, never even to Mexico or Canada.

9. My dream is to go to Hawaii, Mexico, or the Bahamas, someplace tropical.

10. My favorite music is mostly from the 90's.

Here are a ton of pictures and an updated message of what has been happening here for the last little while so scroll down and enjoy!

We went to a place called "Punkinaze" yesterday after school/work with our friend Rachelle (her husband, Mike, is TDY in Pennslyvania) and her kids Jerek and Chanse. The kids had a great time going down the hay slide and getting lost, literally, in the corn maze. They also got to dig in a huge tub of corn for candy. Who would have thought that corn could be so much fun!

Cassidy did such a good job dancing, I would have woosed out because it was too cold to boogie. Sorry the pictures are so dark someone, ME, forgot to turn on their flash, duh!

Here are some pictures of the field trip I went on with Zack's preschool to the pumpkin patch last Friday, I was so happy it was actually on a Friday so I could come. We had a great time going on a tractor ride and picking out a pumpkin for him and sissy. He has so many little friends at preschool and insisted we hang out with Ben and his mom while we were there.

I am such a slacker and I really have no excuse other than that I have been too busy at work to sit down and update this thing and I hate using my computer at home to do so because it is so dang slow. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying what we have left of decent weather. I am so not excited for winter this year, The idea of being cold does not appeal to me at all and the tastes of winter weather that we have had thus far have just upset me to the point of refusing to leave my house. It has been crazy at school this year. I love the new schedule and having a few days off each week to get my chores done but I hate working all day and all that goes with it, I am so burnt out by the time I get home in the afternoon I have a hard time being patient with my own kids on Monday and Tuesday so that is hard. Jason has been doing lots of stuff as well both at work and on the side. The mighty hunter got a deer during the bow hunt, don't know if I have mentioned that yet, and 50 punds of fish from Alaska. We haven't had to buy anything but chicken in a while. Cassidy is working hard in second grade and her biggest challenge is probably the spelling tests she has each Friday. She usually only misses one or two, if any, but it really stresses her out. She has been busy with soccer and dance but that will slow down as her last soccer practice is today and her last game is on Saturday, until the spring. She will continue to have dance practice every Tuesday evening though. She danced in the halftime show of a local football game, in the freezing rain might I add, and had a ball (I will blog some pics of it). Zack keeps me running all the time. He and I get to hang out on Thursday and Friday while sissy is at school. We get to lunch with daddy, have play dates, go shopping, take naps, etc. It has been fun to have some time alone with him. Cassidy and I have tickets to the much anticipated Hannah Montana concert on Saturday, October 27th so we have a countdown going for that. That pretty much catches everyone up to date with us. I guess I will blog some pics for everyone to take a peek at!
